The world started spiralling, I was lost and in panic. A look of shock filled my expression as I took a look around. The chaos from the hurricane swept althroughout the valley. It's distruction: uncontrollable. One could only stop an stare.

That up thar describes what has happened within the past two weeks.

An "F" here, turned to a "D" there. Hating chem more and more. Had a long test in math, and hate that too [we all died]. Having incredibly LONG english homeworks, and hating it too. Your (or, at least, my) confidence is just depleting by the hour you're reminded of your failures. It's just so freaking HARD.

And get this: coach Idel gave us the lineup for the UAAP this year. Lo and behold... I'm in board 2 @_@. *and then the world spirals*

For those who don't know what being in board 2 means, it means you'll play against the top scorers of the UAAP-chess players of other schools. Some of who are in the National Chess team. *dies* Oh, and if the person in board 1 isn't around to play, the boards move up. @___@ Thus I have the possibility of battling National Masters. An honor, but a horrible scare. *double dead*

Did I mention that our UAAP starts on August 2? ...Did you know that it'd be midterm season by then?

So... bye bye sleep. bye bye free time...

This is going to be a really really tough sem.

I have to say this though, even if it's entire random. Despite the total underdog of us freshmen on the team, alot the veterans in the there are willing to get out of their way just to help us out.
